Harmony Modules

Harmony offers you unrivalled flexibility in handling your inventory needs. It has been designed with the growing business in mind providing a solution for the way you do business now and the way you will do business in the future.

Inventory Features

Harmony maintains the optimum balance of merchandise for your trading patterns, as well as handling stock reserves and allocations.

Staff can reserve stock for orders; Harmony will automatically alter them, based on back orders, expected arrival date, and desired delivery date.

This frees up more stock for sale, without jeopardizing the sales on reserve.

Harmony will even calculate future stock projections and highlight any possible shortfalls so you can plan ahead.

If a chosen item is out of stock, the system can be set to select an alternative.

Harmony allows for kiting and bundling, where items that must go together are managed as one unit.

Stock for kits can be reserved so you don't end up with "orphaned" stock or incomplete kits.

Costing methods available within Harmony include FIS, FOB, weighted average FIS, and fixed cost, where serial and batch numbers are used.

Stock write downs can be done easily - you set the formula for each product, and Harmony automatically writes down the value by the correct percentage, based on the age of the item.

You can implement multiple warehouses (both physical and logical) with multiple locations and bins.

Stock takes can be done for individual product groups or by location, whenever you choose.

Stock takes allow for the freezing of stock levels allowing work to continue once a count is complete without having to commit updates.

A variety of equipment can be used for stock take including cabled or batch scanners and RF terminals.

All Product Types Supported

What ever you sell, Harmony can help you manage it.

Harmony can handle standard items as well as many special product types for a variety of industries.

For example in the Textile, Footwear and Clothing industries items can be set up by style, colour and size.

For the Timber and Building industry items can be set up as being in linear or square meters and timber can be tracked by packs.

With Harmony you can track by batch as well as by type, number of units, and measurement.

If serial number tracking is important for your business, Harmony is a particularly good choice.

Keying in a serial number will quickly show you what the item is, where and when it was used in manufacturing or assembly, purchased and who bought it.

Harmony supports up to 12 standard prices for each product, as well as unlimited special prices and discount levels.

Prices can be set by unit, weight, quantity etc.

Once you've set your pricing levels and rules in the system, you can let Harmony decide which level to use, based on the customer`s purchase history, credit status, or a combination of factors.

Harmony helps you to maintain optimal stock levels, because it tells you exactly what you need, and even which supplier has the best price!

You can have the system order automatically, or use sales history to decide what to order.

Harmony takes into account your current stock holdings and usage patterns, delivery lead times, supplier minimum order quantities and more.

It ensure you have the stock you need, when you need it.

Harmony's multi warehouse system allows for re-stocking across warehouses from a central distribution centre.

Harmony's flexible design allows you to receive based on invoice or delivery docket, enter serial or batch numbers and create bar codes.

It allows you to update price files based on the cost of goods received, and much more.

As each item is received, the system highlights any discrepancies in price or quantity from the purchase order, so errors can be corrected quickly.

Harmony has a wide range of formats for labels and price tickets (including formats specified by major retailers), or you can produce your own.

Sales Order Processing and Invoicing

Harmony's order entry screens match your product type - style/colour/size, lineal metres or whatever.

As well as entering orders yourself, you can enable reps, agents and even customers to do it, via your network or the Internet.

Harmony can be set to check customer credit status before accepting an order.

After the order is keyed Harmony checks stock levels, chooses alternates for items not available, calculates prices, tracks commissions and more.

A customizable table lets you set commission rates by debtor or by stock item.

Orders and Invoices can be copied from history and an infinite number of pricing formulae can be used based on volumes and discounts.

Using the Harmony Quotation Module, quotes can be easily created for customers from scratch, by coping another quotation or by using a template.

The progress of the quote can be tracked and multiple versions created and tracked.

Once accepted, a quote can be automatically loaded as either a sales order or into the job costing system depending on the quote type.

This can provide significant time savings for a business processing many orders.
