Road Map 2020/21

NEW DEVELOPMENT IN HARMONY AND WinPOS

As Product Owner, I have had a look back at the incredible work completed by the team at Future Business Systems over the last couple of years. In addition to customised development, we have further enhanced our product offerings, by completing the following:

Harmony back-office software

  • Linux Operating System. We now have our first sites running on the Linux operating system. This is a major system achievement, that has taken years of development.

  • An upgrade of ODBC for Linux to version 8.1 which has 64 bit capability, is included with Linux O/S.

  • Australia Post via API, for both local and international orders.

  • Extended the card group options from 10 to 20.

  • In partnership with OZEDI, we completed our essential payroll integration for Single Touch Payroll.

  • New EDI partners: Bunnings, Officeworks, Spotlight, Baby Bunting, Chemist Warehouse.

  • Harmony APIs now provide better stock visibility for free and future stock levels.

  • Launch of Harmony Insights, a browser-based Business Intelligence tool providing a new way to see your Harmony data.

  • New freight integration with VT Freight Express and Direct Freight Express.

  • Wholesale market integrations with Joor and Brandscope.

  • Sales Analytics integration with Kepler Analytics.

WinPOS (Harmony’s Point of Sale Software)

  • New ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ partners: Humm, Laybuy, Latitude/GenoaPay and Klarna.

  • Freight integrations via API with Australia Post and Startrack. Note, currently this is for local orders only.

  • Freight integration via API with Shippit local and international, an alternate to Australia Post/Startrack.

  • Added ‘Endless Aisle’ ability, where a store can create an order for another store to fulfil and ship to the customer as an enhancement to our existing web order allocations, Click and Collect and Ship from Store functionalities.

  • Integration with Slyp allowing your customers to get their receipts directly into their bank statement or via SMS. Currently available banks are NAB. Commonwealth Bank later this year; ANZ and Westpac in 2022.

  • Partnership with Melbourne based company SMS Global. This allows Winpos to SMS your customers, so long as a mobile number is known. SMSs can be triggered by new orders, finalised orders, over the counter transactions, or manually from within the customer window.

  • We can now store in a dedicated table, all transactions originating from web and POS, including all payment methods and references. Therefore, on refund with original invoice, the exact payment method can be seen.
